Vela has extensive experience singing in different working bands and theatre productions in the genres of Jazz, Soul, Pop, Latin, Gospel and Hip Hop, as well as providing studio vocals both in Germany and the UK. Skilled as both lead and backing singer, she is able to hold, develop and perform harmonies effectively, can improvise and capture an audience. She is a true Soprano.

Julie Gordon's Band

This track is an edit from a live concert  of a soul band that Vela sang backing for- the Julie E.Gordon band project. Julie E. Gordon ,current singer for the Happy Mondays and the Caulbearers. She developed the harmonies you can hear and performed them live. The band included Myke Wilson (Lamb, Texas, Swing out Sisters), blues Musicians Paolo Fuschi, Dave Luvin, Paul Ashton (Dr. Truth) and Mary Ononokpono.
